What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites remember information about your visit.

How we use cookies

We use essential cookies only: they keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with third parties.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use parts of the Service.

This list is produced from the site itself, so it always matches what the site sets. Every item is set by Longetra; the site uses no third-party cookies.

Strictly necessaryalways on

Keep you signed in and secure, carry what you have typed from one step of a form to the next, and remember the choice you make here. The site cannot work without them, so they are always on.

longetra_access	cookie	Keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by scripts on the page.	15 minutes
longetra_refresh	cookie	Renews your sign-in so you are not signed out every 15 minutes. Removed when you sign out.	30 days
longetra_csrf	cookie	Protects your account from requests made by other websites in your name.	30 days

longetra_i18n_preview	cookie	Shows a translation that has not been released yet, to a person given a preview link to check it.	30 minutes
longetra:screeningToken	session storage	Carries your answers to the Companion eligibility questions into the application you start next.	Until the tab is closed
longetra_onboarding_draft	session storage	Keeps what you have entered while you create an account, so going back a step loses nothing. Never your password.	Until the tab is closed
longetra:safety-information	local storage	Keeps the emergency numbers for where you are, so they are still shown if you lose your connection.	Until it is next updated, or you clear your browser
longetra-v1-shell	cache	Keeps the offline page, the app icon and the site’s own script and style files, so the app loads quickly and can say it is offline instead of failing. Holds nothing about you and no page you have viewed.	Until the app is updated
